Reception and Anamnesis
This is the first contact with the patient. Personal details are collected and, above all, questions are asked about your lifestyle (work, social life, family…) and your understanding of the problem (current issue, symptoms, history).
Ear examination by imaging
We perform an examination of your ear canal to see the eardrum and any ear lesions in greater detail. Using a video-otoscope, while the Hearing Aid Dispenser is performing the examination, you will be able to see the image on a monitor, allowing for a better explanation of possible wax build-up, lesions, etc.
Audiometry test in a soundproof booth
With these tests, we can quantify the hearing loss as well as determine the type of loss you are experiencing.
To perform this test, the patient must be placed inside a soundproof booth so that the test takes place in silence. The tests performed are:
- Air Conduction Pure Tone Audiometry.
- Bone Conduction Pure Tone Audiometry.
- Speech Audiometry.
- Tympanometry.
