Contact us today to schedule your appointment and begin your journey towards better hearing.
This is the first contact with the patient. Personal details are collected and, above all, the patient is asked about their living environment (work, social life, family, etc.) and their awareness of the problem (current issue, symptoms, history).

We perform an examination of your ear canal to view the eardrum and any ear lesions in greater detail. Using a video otoscope, while the Hearing Aid Dispenser is performing the examination, you will be able to see the image on a monitor, allowing for a better explanation of potential wax plugs, lesions, and more.

With these tests, we can quantify the hearing loss as well as determine the type of loss you are experiencing.
To perform this test, the patient must be placed inside a Soundproof Booth so that the procedure takes place in silence. The tests performed are:
- Air Conduction Pure Tone Audiometry: Using an audiometer, a series of tones are emitted at a specific intensity and frequency through headphones placed on the patient.
- Bone Conduction Pure Tone Audiometry: Using an audiometer, a series of tones are emitted at a specific intensity and frequency through a bone vibrator placed behind the patient’s ear.
- Speech Audiometry: Using an audiometer and through the patient’s headphones, a series of words are emitted which the patient must hear and understand, repeating them one by one if understood. This test determines the patient’s level of speech intelligibility.
- Tympanometry: Using a tympanometer, we measure the elasticity of the eardrum to assess whether there is a conductive hearing loss.
Once the tests are completed, a report of the results from the various assessments is issued. The Hearing Aid Dispenser will explain the results in full detail and recommend the best solution for your hearing problem.
The Hearing Aid Dispenser and the patient will together choose the hearing aid that best fits their needs. The steps followed in the selection process are:
1st Patient Assessment: The type of loss, the living environment (work, social, family), and the patient’s predisposition are assessed.
2nd Hearing Aid Recommendation: Once the previous factors have been assessed, a choice will be made based on the patient’s loss, aesthetics, and the device’s features. We will select from the three existing ranges: ITE, RITE, and BTE.
The Hearing Aid Dispenser will use a computer to programme the hearing aid while it is inside the patient’s ear, making the necessary adjustments to achieve the best hearing sensation during the initial fitting.

From your first fitting, you will enter a free one-year Review Plan. Through planned, bespoke periodic reviews, the Hearing Aid Dispenser will define your Adaptation Schedule, which is simply the time required for adjustments to adapt your hearing to your living environment. They will also provide advice on the maintenance of your hearing aid.
